Gurgaon Packers and Movers
5.0★ 500+ Google Reviews · Fixed Written Quote · Transit Insurance

One team handles your whole move: packing at your old home, loading, transport, unloading, unpacking and setting everything up at your new home. This page explains each step, so you know exactly what our crew will do and what to expect on the day.
We do house shifting within Gurgaon, moves from Gurgaon to other cities, and office shifting. The process is the same for all of them. Only the truck size, crew size and timeline change. If you only need help with packing, see our packing services.
Every move follows the same eight steps, from the first phone call to the final check at your new home.
Call or WhatsApp us on 092893 77586. We visit your home, or do a video call, to see everything that needs to move. We note the floor, the lift, the distance from your door to the truck, and any items that need extra care. You get a written quote that lists the items, packing materials, labour and truck.
We fix the date and start time with you. We check if your society needs a moving permission, a lift booking or a set time slot for trucks, at both the old and the new building. Tell us about narrow stairs, no lift or parking limits, so we bring the right crew and truck.
Our crew arrives with all the materials. We list every item first, then pack room by room and label each carton with its room and contents.
We carry everything to the truck and load it in a fixed order, heavy items first and fragile items last, tied so nothing shifts.
Your goods travel in a closed truck, straight to your new home. For moves to other cities, we tell you the expected delivery date at booking and keep you updated by phone.
We unload in reverse order and take each item straight to the room it belongs in.
We reassemble furniture, place it where you want it, and unpack cartons into your new kitchen, wardrobes and shelves.
We walk through the home with you and match everything against the item list. If anything is wrong, you tell us on the spot.
Each item is packed for the way it breaks. Glass needs cushioning, furniture needs its corners and surfaces covered, and appliances need to stay upright and dry.
| Item | How we pack it |
|---|---|
| Beds, wardrobes and tables | We take apart what comes apart, bag and label the screws, and wrap each panel in corrugated sheet and stretch film. Corners get extra layers. |
| Sofas | Wrapped fully in thick quilted padding, then tied with strapping so the cover stays tight. |
| Glass tops, mirrors and frames | Wrapped in quilted padding, marked “Glass”, and carried and loaded standing upright, never flat. |
| TV, computer and music system | Foam sheet on the screen, then corrugated sheet and film. If you kept the original box, we use it. |
| Fridge | Wrapped in corrugated sheet and stretch film and kept upright the whole way. Please empty and defrost it the night before. |
| Washing machine | Drum secured, body wrapped in corrugated sheet and film. Please drain the water a day before. |
| Kitchen utensils and crockery | Each plate and glass wrapped in packing paper, packed standing in cartons with the gaps filled. Cartons marked “Fragile”. |
| Clothes and linen | Packed in cartons by room and person, so they are easy to find at the new home. |
| Books and files | Small cartons, so each one stays light enough to carry safely. |
| Mattresses | Covered in stretch film to keep out dust and moisture. |
| Cash, jewellery and documents | Please keep these with you. They should not travel in the truck. |
For safety, gas cylinders must be disconnected and sealed before we arrive. Flammable items such as petrol, kerosene and paint thinner cannot go in the truck. You can see real photos of our packing on our homepage.
How a truck is loaded decides whether things arrive safely. We load in a set order, so heavy items can never fall on fragile ones.
The fridge, wardrobes, washing machine and other heavy pieces go in first, against the front wall of the truck.
Beds, tables and the sofa go in next, packed close so they cannot slide.
Heavy cartons such as books go at the bottom, lighter ones on top.
Glass, mirrors and “Fragile” cartons go in last, standing upright and cushioned between soft items like mattresses.
We tie the load with ropes so nothing shifts on turns, bumps or speed breakers.
We carry items, never drag them, and take extra care in lifts, stairwells and doorways. Before the truck leaves, we check every room and cupboard with you, so nothing is left behind.
Every item goes straight to the room where it belongs, so nothing has to be moved twice.
Before we unload, you show our crew which room is which: the bedrooms, the kitchen, the study.
Each carton was labelled with its room at packing, so the crew takes it directly there.
Tell us where you want the bed, wardrobe and sofa, and we place them there. If you are not sure yet, a simple sketch of the layout helps.
Cartons and furniture are checked against the item list made at packing, so you know everything has arrived.
Our job ends when your home is ready to live in, not when the truck is empty.
Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and anything else we took apart is put back together with its own screws and fittings.
Utensils, crockery and groceries are unpacked onto your shelves and counters, arranged the way you tell us.
Clothes go into wardrobes and books onto shelves. If you would rather sort these yourself, we leave the cartons in the right rooms.
The fridge, washing machine and TV go where you want them. Keep the fridge standing for a few hours before you switch it on.
We collect the used cartons, film and padding and take them away.
You can also ask us to only place the cartons in their rooms and skip the unpacking. Tell us at the survey, so the quote matches what you need.
A few small things on your side make the day faster and keep the cost down.

Many local moves within Gurgaon are packed, moved and set up in one day. Bigger homes and moves to other cities take longer. We give you the timeline at the survey.
Tell us during the final check, so we can note it and sort it out with you. You can also take transit insurance for extra cover. Our transit insurance guide explains how it works.
